Surprise Police say an attempted armed robbery took place early Saturday morning. The robber matches the description of a man that has tried to rob the store five times.
The robber flashed a knife at the clerk of a Chevron gas station at 122nd Ave. and Bell early Saturday morning. The man fled the store without any money.
Police searched the area but did not find the suspect. They say the first robbery took place back in November of 2014.
