El Mirage police say a man is dead after he was stabbed early Monday. The victim is identified as Valeriano Quinones, 32.
Police found Quinones lying on a sidewalk around 3 a.m. in the 12,000 block of west Palo Verde Road.
The fire department arrived, rendered aid and Quinones was taken to the hospital where he died, police said.
El Mirage police say they're following up on leads. Police have not identified any suspects. A motive for the attack has not been released. Anyone with information is asked to call El Mirage police.
