ID=24325309The Arizona Department of Corrections has a cell ready for Jodi Arias, regardless of what fate the jury hands down in her sentencing retrial.

Arias will be housed at the Arizona State Prison Complex Perryville west of Phoenix. If she's sentenced to death, that cell will be in the Lumley Unit with two other death row inmates.

Cells are just over 86 square feet, with a bed, mattress, sink and toilet. On death row, all of Arias's meals will be delivered through a slot in the door. She will never have contact with any other inmates, and her visitation will be limited to a few non-contact visits a week.

Death row inmates are entitled to two appliances, like TVs or radios, purchased from the prison store. They have access to two books a week from the prison library and access to all legal research materials they could need.

Arias will be given two-hour sessions in the prison recreation yard, three times a week. She will shower three times a week as well.

But if the jury hands down a life sentence, Arias has more freedom. She can hold down a job in the prison, eat with other inmates in the dining hall, do activities and go to counseling sessions with other inmates.

Regardless of the sentence, Arias will be a maximum security inmate. As such, she will be shackled when she's out of her cell and her movements will be severely restricted.
