Christmas Tree Lighting at Outlets at Anthem

Celebrate the holiday season a little early this year and head to the Outlets at Anthem for the lighting of the tall Christmas tree in the nation. The lighting will take place on Friday and Saturday. Friday night's events include games, prizes and a picture with princesses from the movie Frozen. There will also be live music and a movie playing. The event goes from 4 to 8 p.m. and is free. Front Porch Pickins Vintage and Handmade Market

If you're looking for vintage, re-purposed, rusty and handmade things, then this market is a place you should be this weekend. The Front Porch Pickins Vintage and Handmade Market is full of tons of treasures that you can use to decorate and love forever. Its held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 17 and 18 at the Park West Mall in Peoria. Tickets are $2 in advance or $3 at the door. Grand Avenue Festival

Head to Grand Avenue this weekend for the 7th annual Grand Avenue Festival. There will be tons of activities, including puppet making, costume making, fashion shows from designers, a parade and more. People can also take tours of historic buildings during the festival. The festival will take place at 1023 NW Grand Avenue. For more information head to the events Facebook page.

Glendale's Best Street Food Festival

This two-day street food festival in Glendale is happening this weekend. This festival will include more than 100 food entrepreneurs, renowned chefs and cooks all promoting delicious food. Participants will compete for votes from the local community and media, elite Yelpers and special VIP judges in order to determine who deserves the trophy for best street food in town. It will be going on from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Downtown Glendale Murphy Park and is free. For more information go to beststreetfoodfest.com.

Country Thunder Music Festival Launchfest

This weekend KMLE Country Thunder Launchfest is happening. This festival is a mini-version of the spring's annual Country Thunder Festival and will feature performances by Craig Morgan, Chris Jansen and Waterloo Revival. Certified Local Fall Festival

This all-day, family-friendly event will be happening at Portland Parkway in downtown Phoenix. This year's festival will feature more than 100 Arizona business vendors. People can sample food from local restaurants and food trucks, along with a beverage garden that will feature local Arizona produced wine and beer. There will also be live entertainment from some of Arizona's most talented musicians and performance artists, crafts and activities for kids and families, a raffle, silent auction and more. Wipeout Run

If you love the show Wipeout then you'll want to participate in this weekends Wipeout Run. Take on this 5K, un-timed course and see if you can pass through it. Anybody over 18 can participate. Registration is open and ranges from $59 to $99. For more information go to wipeoutrun.com.

Rock the Block in Chandler

The sixth annual Rock the Block is happening this weekend in downtown Chandler. It's a family-friendly event will features live performances, a zip line, games, a beer garden, kids zone, local arts and crafts vendors and more. Downtown Chandler businesses will be open to celebrate with everyone. It's a free block party that will attract thousands of people from all over the Valley. Arizona Hip Hop Festival

This is the second year the Arizona Hip Hop Festival will be at the Comerica Theatre in downtown Phoenix. The festival features local artists and gives them a chance to showcase their talents to thousands of people. The festival goes from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and admission is $20. Yardstock Music Festival

Head to the third annual Yardstock Music Festival this weekend at Culinary Dropout at the Yard. The festival is a mini-McDowell Mountain Music Festival and will feature four bands performing all night. The lineup for the McDowell Mountain Music Festival will also be announced. Mesa Music Festival

Sunday is the last day of the Mesa Music Festival that is happening all weekend. It's a free admission festival that is showcasing some of the best up and coming talent from across the country. One local Mesa band, Authority Zero, will headline the festival and dozens others will perform at participating venues throughout Mesa. Kool-A-Palooza

This weekend is full of music and festivals so head to this one to end your weekend. There will be five world-class tribute bands at this festival that will pay tribute to the Eagles, Duran Duran, Journey, Michael Jackson and U2. There will also be food trucks at the festival.
