Spring Training games
Head out to the baseball stadiums and enjoy some spring baseball this weekend and almost every day until the end of March. Watch the hometown Diamondbacks or enjoy other games across the Valley. Tickets are as low as $8. For more info, go to cactusleague.com.
Dino Egg Hunt
Have you ever wanted to hunt for dinosaur eggs? Well, now is your chance. Instead of going on an Easter egg hunt head down to the Arizona Museum of Natural History and join in on hunting down some dinosaur eggs. It's the only place in the Valley you can find actual fossilized dinosaurs. Plus, the event will have crafts and an area to learn about dinosaur eggs. There will be a five-egg limit per child. Tickets are $9 for adults, $5 for kids three to 17 and free for members. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. For more information visit azMNH.org.
Food Truck Friday
Do you love food trucks? Then you should experience Food Truck Friday! This event showcases the wonderful food trucks in metro Phoenix. It's held at Phoenix Public Market in downtown Phoenix and occurs every week. It goes from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. For more information visit Phoenix Public Market website.
USMNT vs. Guatemala Watch Party
The U.S. men's soccer team takes on Guatemala this weekend and the Tilted Kilt Pub in downtown Phoenix is hosting a watch party! So head to CityScape and join others at Tilted Kit Pub to celebrate and watch the game. There will be $3 cans of Dale's Pale Ale and 15 percent off of food. The game begins around 8 p.m. local time. Meet the Caterpillars
Caterpillars have arrived at the Desert Botanical Garden. This weekend folks have the chance to see the little creatures before they become beautiful butterflies. The garden will also host other butterfly-related experiences -- like a naturalist-led walk around the garden and workshops. The caterpillar event will be going on from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday through May 14. Tickets are $22. For more information go to dbg.org.
Arizona Renaissance Festival
The Arizona Renaissance Festival is a medieval amusement park full of adventure. Folks can see a variety of shows and performances on the 13-stage theater, visit the arts and crafts fair, see knights joust it out in a jousting tournament and of course, feast on all of the delicious food. 40th annual Dolly Sanchez Memorial Easter Egg Hunt
It's Easter which means there are a ton of Easter Egg Hunts going on this weekend! Celebrate the 40th anniversary of this family-friendly event in Peoria. There will be candy egg hunts for various age groups and individuals with disabilities. The hunt will be held at the Peoria Centennial Plaza and will also include a petting zoo, pony rides, crafts, face painting, games and more! Admission and parking are free. Go to a free family event this weekend to celebrate Easter. The Egg-Strava-Ganza will take place at 15960 N. Bullard Avenue in Surprise. Kids Day at Peoria Sports Complex
It's the final Kids Day at Peoria Sports Complex of the 2016 Spring Training season. Kids 12 and under get the chance to stand with a player during the National Anthem, announce players coming to bat, enjoy inflatable attractions and run the bases after the game. Free Store at PPC EarthShip
Are you looking to barter this weekend? Then head to 501 N. 14th Street near downtown Phoenix and visit the Free Store. The Free Store is a place where you can bring things you don't need, empty out your clutter and barter with others to get things you may want or need.
