This is Louie, a 5-year-old Pit bull-Boxer mix. He is so sweet and is looking for a forever home.
Louie is an owner-surrender. The owners were moving and unfortunately couldn't take him along. At the moment, he is being taken care of by the Maricopa County Animal Care and Control, where he is given so much love.
The shelter believes Louie is part Pit bull and part Boxer. Either way, he was very friendly on 12 News "Weekend Today."
"He is an amazing boy and would fit into any family," said Gina from the Maricopa Shelter.
Since he has been with the shelter for more than 30 days, his adoption fee is only $20.
Louie will be available for adoption starting at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 14 and waiting with open paws for the right family.
