Karlos Dansby knows both the Seahawks and Patriots well.
The former Cardinals linebacker played against Seattle for years while in Arizona and has also seen Tom Brady and company numerous times over his 11-year NFL career.
Currently a Cleveland Brown, his familiarity with both teams is one reason he is excited about the big game this year.
"It's going to be a great game," said Dansby.
Dansby believes both teams are equally matched in just about every area, but the All-Pro linebacker sees one clear advantage for the Seahawks.
"I think Seattle will win this one," he said. "The special teams will really tell the tale of this game. Seattle has the edge in the special teams battle. With Pete Carroll, that is his specialty anyway."
Here's Dansby's take on Seahawks running back Marshwan Lynch: "He's a monster."
He also has some advice for Patriots defenders trying to tackle Lynch. "It's very hard, but you got to prepare for that," he said. "It isn't something you got to just go pick up and do."
Dansby recalls a big hit on Lynch from last year and getting a similar play could be a key for the Patriots.
"That's how we (the Cardinals) beat them up in Seattle," he said. "It kind of deflated their whole team."
