A phone call between 28-year-old Brittany Zamora and the parents of the student she allegedly abused is among hours of recorded police interviews released to 12 News.
The 13-year-old boy’s parents got a call from the teacher after they discovered sexually explicit text messages on their son’s phone last year.
“I don’t give a **** what you want to, you…” said the boy’s father. “What type of ******* perverted, person are you? I want to know right now,” He said.
“You’re a child molester, do you understand me?” the boy's dad said.
Zamora responded, “Why do you say that?”
“Can we meet, you know, to talk about this? We can settle...outside…?” she asked.
“Oh yeah, oh yeah, that’s what we can do so I can give you a chance to do it to some other kid, yeah, that’s exactly what we’re going to do… NO!” said the boy’s dad.
“Make sure you tell your husband what’s going on,” he added.
Zamora, offered to get her husband on the phone. “He is right here. Can he talk to you?” she said.
“Oh yeah! Put your ******* husband on the phone!” the boy’s dad said.
“She’s done so much and she made a huge mistake, the biggest mistake that anybody could ever make in the whole entire…" said Zamora’s husband.
"Think about, I mean, God preaches forgiveness…" Zamora’s husband said.
But the boy’s father didn’t buy their plea.
“Your wife decided to be a monster and prey on a child. She scarred my son mentally. Do you understand what a 13-year-old boy did, having sex with a teacher? Do you get that at all?” asked the boy’s dad.
“Do me a favor, do not call this number back again. The next time you’ll hear from me will be in court,” said the boy’s dad.
After the boy’s parents hung up. They would call again with police detectives in the room. The boy’s asked Zamora why she would go after his son.
Zamora responded, “Honestly, I just got really close after I think everything went down, and we were like ‘Oh, how could that happen?’”
