Arizona State University's athletic department made a switch to Adidas, and with that switch comes a brand-new look. It is uncertain as to what that new look may be... until now.
Chacho Ulloa, a three-star recruit from Corona, Calif., may have given the public a sneak peek to the new uniforms while visiting ASU. He tweeted out a picture Tuesday where he's seen wearing Nike's "Desert Fuel" jersey while also standing in front of a table sprawled with the football team's many helmet variations.
Out of all helmets, however, one in particular caught the attention of fans.
Located next to Ulloa's left hand is a helmet described to be anthracite, or coal-like, with a copper pitchfork logo and face mask. A close-up photo taken by Joey Artigue shows that the helmet is similar to the white "Desert Fuel" helmet.
The switch to Adidas isn't happening until July. It wasn't confirmed whether or not the helmet is the official Adidas mockup.
