Yavapai County Sheriff's Office identify 2 suspects in stolen credit card incident

The two suspects picked up approximately $17,000 worth of electrical wire using a "prominent" Prescott Valley citizen's credit card, authorities say.

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. — The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office has identified two people who are suspected of stealing a prominent Prescott Valley citizen's credit card, authorities said. 

The YCSO said two individuals picked up approximately $17,000 worth of electrical wire from the Prescott Valley Home Depot. The order was placed over the phone and then charged to a "prominent Prescott Valley citizen's credit card."

The YCSO did not give 12News any additional details regarding the identity of the "prominent" citizen or the circumstances leading up to the purchase. The two suspects are cooperating with the investigation, authorities said.
