WINSLOW, Ariz. — Winslow police shot an armed burglary suspect at a pawn shop just before 1 a.m. Wednesday, police said.
According to police, the suspect shot at officers who responded to an burglary alarm at Moore's Pawn Shop, located in the 1000 block of West Third Street.
Officers returned fire, striking the armed man. He was flown to Flagstaff Medical Center where he is in stable condition, police said.
No officers were injured during the shooting.
The investigation is ongoing.
