PHOENIX — Arizona's Citizens Clean Elections Commission has released its schedule of candidate debates ahead of November's general election.
Multiple competitive races will be on the ballot this November in Arizona, which has earned the reputation of being a battleground state during this year's presidential election.
One of most high-profile races on Arizona's ballot is the race that will determine who will fill the seat being vacated by U.S. Sen. Kyrsten Sinema. Democrat Ruben Gallego and Republican Kari Lake will be vying to win the seat, which could ultimately determine which party holds the Senate's majority.
The commission has scheduled a debate between Gallego and Lake to occur on Oct. 9. Local voters can begin submitting questions via email at debates@azcleanelections.gov or by calling 602-364-3477.
Residents can watch the debates online or on television.
