For those who love wildflowers, Peridot Mesa is a must-visit destination in Arizona.
The mesa is one of the Grand Canyon state's most popular hot spots for wildflower viewing. But before you go, here are a couple things you need to know.

You will need a permit
Since the Peridot Mesa is located on the San Carlos Indian Reservation, visitors will need to purchase a permit to travel to to the wildflower spot.
Permits are $10 each and can be purchased online or at one of the following two locations:

Where to find the wildflowers
The mesa is located east of Globe, Arizona on the San Carlos Reservation. The area can be best accessed via US-70 near Coolidge Dam Road.
