APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. — A driver was critically injured Monday after a flatbed trailer swung across the median on the US 60 near Apache Junction.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety said a pickup truck hauling a trailer stacked with pipes jackknifed near milepost 195, resulting in the trailer crossing over the median and hitting an oncoming passenger vehicle.
DPS said the driver of the passenger car was critically injured. The identity of the driver was not released.
Motorists can likely expect delays on US 60 while the crash is being investigated.
