ELOY, Ariz. — An Arizona pilot was killed after their small plane crashed in Eloy, Arizona on Friday, about 65 miles southeast of Phoenix, according to officials with the Eloy Police Department.
A Skystar Kitfox Series 5 airplane went down just before 1:30 p.m. south of the Eloy Municipal Airport, officials said. The pilot was the only person on board, according to officials with the Eloy Police Department.
The NTSB is investigating the crash.
The deceased pilot has been identified as Kenneth Szeluga of Tucson.
Eloy police said Szeluga flying back to Tucson from Eloy when the plane crashed. The cause of the crash is not yet determined.
