PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. — One person is in custody following a report of shots fired at a Prescott Valley park, the city's police department said.
Prescott Valley Police Department officers responded to reports of shots fired at the south end of Mountain Valley Park around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Witnesses told police that people in two pickup trucks exchanged gunfire between the basketball courts and the dog park. The witnesses also told police that a red pickup allegedly fled the scene before police got there, as well as some people on foot.
Police said all the people involved in the incident were identified and one man is in custody. No one was injured and there is no ongoing threat to the public, police said.
