FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — A man has been arrested in connection to a woman's death on Oct. 1 in Flagstaff.
Samuel Lee, 38, Ganado, was arrested on Oct. 18 on charges of second-degree murder, according to Flagstaff police.
Officers were called to the area of Beulah Boulevard and West Plamer Avenue around 3 p.m. on Oct. 1 after witnesses reported a man putting an unresponsive woman in a car.
Officers found the car on South Milton Road and found a woman unresponsive. Despite life-saving efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene. She was later identified as Sandy Singer, 38, of Tonalea.
Lee has been booked into the Coconino County Jail on charges of second-degree murder and sexual assault and is currently awaiting his next court appearance.
