PHOENIX — Red Lobster isn't going out of business, but it is scaling back operations.

The Florida-based restaurant chain recently filed for bankruptcy amidst a sea of financial troubles like rising lease and labor costs. They specified that their "endless shrimp" deal wasn't the cause of these issues, as many on social media speculated.

As part of the process, the company plans to sell its business to lenders and will be closing hundreds of restaurants, including several in Arizona, as that happens. Recent court filings suggested that these Arizona locations will be shut down soon:

  • 2500 S. Beulah Blvd., Flagstaff
  • 7921 W. Bell Rd., Peoria
  • 2810 N. 75th Ave., Phoenix
  • 5061 N. Oracle Rd., Tucson
  • 1521 S. Yuma Palms Pkwy., Yuma

It's currently unknown when these restaurants will shut their doors for good.
