PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. — Bradshaw Mountain High School will be temporarily closed as authorities investigate an electrical fire that happened close to the school, Superintendent Christine Griffin announced Thursday morning.
The fire was reportedly contained to an electrical box near campus, but both power and internet services to the school were affected.
It would be "unsafe and impractical to conduct classes," Griffin said in a statement.
A vandal recently targeted the high school and caused roughly $60,000 in damages to the school campus, authorities said.
Police are treating the situation as possible criminal activity, but there is no confirmation whether or not the events are connected at this time.
