A disaster. That's one way you could describe a campsite photographed by the Prescott National Forest.
The photo, shared on social media by forest officials, shows what looks to be more like a dumpsite than a campsite.
Trash and debris can been seen all over the place in the picture. Forest officials apparently stumbled upon the disaster and were forced to clean it up. Surprisingly, the campers did use an ash tray.
"OK. Glad we convinced you to use an ash tray, but did you really have to leave this mess for us to pick up?" officials tweeted.
The photo was shared as a reminder for campers to clean up after themselves as part of the Leave No Trace campaign. Although officials said they had "no such luck this time" finding information that could identify the culprit, campers could be prosecuted for leaving campsites or picnic areas like this.
"Protect your access to public lands by cleaning up your campsite or picnic area, and tell your friends to do the same!" Officials said.
