TUCSON, Ariz. — Pima County officials say multiple power lines have fallen across the roadway near West Ina Road and North Shannon Road.
Deputies are on the scene conducting traffic control while TEP works to remove the fallen wires.
PCSD encourages drivers to avoid the area and find a different route of travel.
PCSD says the power lines are down due to the weather. The Tuscon National Weather Service said it was a microburst.
"Dry microbursts occur with little or no precipitation and is usually associated with virga," the NWS said.
Northwest Fire District said there were two injuries.
If you encounter a down power line, stay a minimum of 30 feet away at all times.
