PIMA COUNTY, Ariz. — Multiple protesters have been detained Thursday morning for trespassing.
Over 100 protesters have gathered outside of the University of Arizona Tech Park to object the Israel-Hamas conflict.
Twenty-six people have been confirmed to have been detained during the protest including a journalist for criminal trespassing.
Deputies say those arrested were taken to the Pima County Sheriff's Department San Xavier District Office, where they were cited and released. None of the arrestees were booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Complex.
KJZZ News said one of its reporters was detained by the sheriff's department as they were covering the demonstration.
