PHOENIX — As the calendar turns to 2024, many of us are looking to see what new adventures await us in the new year.
For some, traveling will be a popular resolution and activity in 2024. To help those with the travel bug, the New York Times even created a list of destinations for people to visit over the year.
Among the selections was a popular northern Arizona hot spot. The recently designated Baaj Nwaavjo I’tah Kukveni, or Ancestral Footprints of the Grand Canyon National Monument made the newspaper's list at number six.
The Times said the location was selected for its "deep spiritual and sacred significance." The Grand Canyon is no stranger to picturesque views from top to bottom, so it's easy to see why the Arizona destination made the list.
