MOHAVE COUNTY, Ariz. — A 45-year-old man who has been missing for almost a week was found dead Tuesday morning in the desert area of White Hills.

The Mohave County Sheriff's Office said Adam Robert Reigh did not appear to be the victim of foul play and may have succumbed to the elements.

Reigh was last seen leaving a friend's house on the morning of July 3. His car was found abandoned on July 5.

A search team detected Reigh's track west of his vehicle and continued following the track until Reigh was located. MCSO noted that the temperature reached up to 112 degrees in the search area.

Search dogs, helicopters and drones were all utilized during the search for Reigh.

"We want to thank all the searchers (tracking teams, K9 teams, and drone teams) for their relentless efforts to push through the excessive heat conditions and rigorous terrain throughout the search to bring Adam home," the sheriff's office wrote in a statement.
