TUCSON, Ariz. — A hiker who went missing on Tuesday near Picacho Peak was sadly found dead Wednesday evening, the Pinal County Sheriff's Office announced.
46-year-old Joseph Reed was seen hiking the mountain around noon on Tuesday, Feb. 6. However, his vehicle was still seen in the parking lot the next day.

Reed was found dead around 6 p.m. and officials believe that he had fallen. It is currently unknown whether the fall was intentional or accidental, PCSO said.
