BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. — A man who was found dead in a remote desert area in Bullhead City has been identified, the city's police said.
Bullhead City police said the medical examiner identified the dead person as Graig Salzer, 63, of Bullhead City. Police found Salzer's body on May 7, in a remote desert area off of the Bullhead Parkway, and the medical examiner identified the body as Salzer May 15.
Salzer was reported missing by a concerned friend April 19, police said. He was reported to last be seen April 15 when he ran out of gas. He planned to walk to Circle K on Adobe Road through the desert area, near where he was located deceased, to get assistance, police said.
A man walking in the wash area collecting rocks reported discovering a dead body May 7, later identified as Salzer. There were no visible signs of trauma and foul play is not suspected, police said. The cause of death is still pending.
