MARICOPA, Ariz. — A man has died after a rollover crash on State Route 238 west of Maricopa, officials with the county sheriff's office confirmed. No one else was in the vehicle at the time.
The crash reportedly happened between MC 85 and 99th Avenue shortly after 2:30 a.m.
"Circumstances surrounding the accident are unknown at this time and the roads will be closed for several hours," a spokesperson with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said.
Both eastbound and westbound lanes of SR 238 have reopened between SR 85 and 99th Avenue.
The man's identity wasn't released.
