A 30-year-old man in Kingman was arrested Thursday after police say he drove into his home and hit his girlfriend with his SUV.
Ronnie Dale Amaral, 30, was arrested on several domestic violence charges including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
According to Kingman police, Amaral was intoxicated and punched a TV and threw it during a "domestic dispute" with his girlfriend.
Police said Amaral exited the home with his keys and drove his SUV-style vehicle through the garage into the kitchen where the vehicle struck his girlfriend.
Officers arrived to find Amaral still in the vehicle and his girlfriend trapped under it.
Kingman PD said Amaral ignored commands from the officers, but was eventually taken into custody.
Officers were able to move the vehicle off the 24-year-old woman. She was taken to a hospital with "serious injuries" to her leg and arm.
Police said Amaral told officers his child was also in the home. Officers found the 6-month-old child in a crib in a bedroom about eight feet from where the vehicle stopped in the kitchen.
Kingman police said additional DUI charges are pending a toxicology report.
