"Hot Water" is an action-comedy movie based on a racer in the IJSBA world finals, which takes place every year in Lake Havasu.
Larry Rippenkroeger, a champion jet skier and former stuntman, is the creator and director. His inspiration for the movie came from real-life experiences while he was a competitor.
Stars in the film include Scottsdale-native Max Adler, Glenn McCuen, Trevor Donovan, Michael Papajohn and Vanessa Angel.
The movie is anticipated to hit theaters in summer 2019.
