Gilbert PD looking for woman accused of assaulting 12-year-old at Goodwill store

The alleged assault occurred inside a Goodwill store on the night of Oct. 28.

GILBERT, Ariz. — The Gilbert Police Department is searching for a woman who allegedly grabbed a child by their neck inside a local Goodwill store on the night of Oct. 28.

Police said the woman approached a group of three juveniles inside the Goodwill located near Warner and Val Vista roads. During her second interaction with the kids, the woman allegedly grabbed one of them by their neck and pushed the 12-year-old into a couch.

The woman then left the store and is believed to have been driving a silver Nissan sedan. Anyone with information about the unidentified suspect can contact police at 480-503-6500.
