Furniture store chain closing all locations, including 7 in the Valley, after going bankrupt

The Ohio-based chain has roughly 370 stores nationwide. Its parent company recently filed for bankruptcy.

American Freight, an Ohio-based appliance and furniture store said the closures were due to financial problems incurred because of “sustained inflation and macroeconomic challenges facing the large durable goods sector," our sister station in Huntsville, Tennessee reported.
