PHOENIX - On Wednesday, Governor Doug Ducey signed SB 1350, which makes home sharing legal around Arizona. The bill, which was written into law Wednesday also provides mechanisms to assist Airbnb hosts in filing taxes. It also allows local governments the power to make short-term regulations.
In Flagstaff, many Airbnb hosts were happy about the announcement. Flagstaff has a high concentration of Airbnb operators, as it is a good middle point for people visiting the Grand Canyon, Sedona and other attractions in Northern Arizona.
