WINSLOW, Ariz. — A crash on Interstate 40 in Winslow left three people, including a teenager and a 4-month-old infant, dead Wednesday morning, Arizona Department of Public Safety officials said.
The single-vehicle crash happened shortly around 7:34 a.m. at milepost 257 near State Route 87.
According to DPS, eight people were in a pickup truck that ran off the road into the median for an unknown reason. The driver reportedly overcorrected, causing the truck to roll multiple times, ejecting three of the passengers.
A 4-month-old infant, a teenage boy and an adult man were killed in the crash.
The remaining five people, including the woman driving the truck were taken to the hospital.
DPS hasn't ruled out impairment at this time.
