MARANA, Ariz.- The Arizona Department of Public Safety issued an Amber Alert Monday for three children who last seen in Marana, northeast of Tucson. Their mother took them from their grandmother's home.
The children's grandmother, Danese Harnesberry, saw one daughter get into a car with mother Bedajii Harnesberry, 33.
When Danese went inside the home after trying to stop Bedajii's car, she found chemicals on the kitchen counter which are used in making chloroform, per Amber Alert.
DPS said Tuesday a trooper found the children Parvati Harnesberry, 16, Ramachandra Harnesberry, 14, and Malchiyah Harnesberry, 11, along with two other kids in the car.
According to DPS, all of the children appear to be in good health.
Authorities were concerned about Bedajii's mental state and believe the children may have been taken against their will.
Bedajii was arrested, DPS said.
