MARANA, Ariz. — A rollover crash on Interstate 10 near Marana shut down the freeway in both directions Thursday morning, officials said.
The vehicle rolled over near milepost 240 and three people were ejected, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety. All three of them died from their injuries.
Identities of the deceased have not been disclosed.
DPS said the crash was caused by tire failure.
As of 2:45 p.m., both the westbound and eastbound lanes of the freeway have reopened after a brief closure.
