COCHISE COUNTY, Ariz. — The Cochise County Sheriff's Office is attempting to find the relatives of a deceased person after a resident found their cremated remains on a walking trail.

The box of cremains was discovered on the afternoon of Jan. 24 near milepost 7 of Charleston Road, which extends from Sierra Vista to Tombstone.

According to a label on the box, the cremains belong to an individual named Ann Kringle, who died in November 2012 and was cremated at a facility in Murrieta, Calif.
