BISBEE, Ariz. — Bisbee is officially now a dark sky community! It's a process that took six years in the making.
The Arizona town now marks 21 dark sky communities, places and parks in the Grand Canyon State. In fact, the Four Corners region has the most dark sky locations in the world!
A "dark sky community" is a town or city that preserves the night sky by implementing and enforcing codes that limit light pollution and providing dark sky education and community support.
A bonus for Bisbee, with fair weather most of the year, you can enjoy the Milky Way and all nighttime sky gazing even more!
You can learn more at Bisbee Dark Skies website.
