Arizona Snowbowl extends schedule into May, making this the longest season in history

The popular ski resort near Flagstaff took to Twitter Thursday to announce that the current ski season is extending into the weekend of May 18!

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Skiers and snowboarders alike are waking up with smiles after the recent news from Arizona Snowbowl.

The popular ski resort near Flagstaff took to Twitter Thursday to announce that the current ski season is extending into the weekend of May 18!

According to the tweet, Arizona Snowbowl is adding May 11-12 and 18-19 to the spring schedule. The extension makes this the longest season in recorded history.

Snowbowl has a 68” Base Depth, according to the resort and the 2018-19 season snowfall is at with 332 inches. This ranks as the second highest in the last two decades. Only the 2004-05 season with 460 inches has had more.
