TEMPE, Ariz. — A lottery ticket purchased in central Arizona is now worth $20,000 after Tuesday's drawing.
The Arizona Lottery said a Mega Millions ticket bought at a Circle K on University Drive in Tempe yielded a big jackpot this week. In addition to the $10,000, there was also a "Plus Megaplier," which brought the jackpot to $20,000.
The next Mega Millions drawing is Friday night and the estimated jackpot is $627 million. If someone wins, this will be the ninth largest Mega Millions jackpot in its history.
