Winning Mega Millions lottery ticket sold in Tempe

The Mega Millions lotto game is available in 44 states plus the District of Columbia and the U. S. Virgin Islands.

TEMPE, Ariz. — A lottery ticket purchased in central Arizona is now worth $20,000 after Tuesday's drawing. 

The Arizona Lottery said a Mega Millions ticket bought at a Circle K on University Drive in Tempe yielded a big jackpot this week. In addition to the $10,000, there was also a "Plus Megaplier," which brought the jackpot to $20,000.

The next Mega Millions drawing is Friday night and the estimated jackpot is $627 millionIf someone wins, this will be the ninth largest Mega Millions jackpot in its history.
