TUBA CITY, Ariz. — Multiple people are recovering from injuries after a bull got loose during a Christmas light parade in Tuba City, Arizona, on Friday, according to a Facebook post from the To'Nanees'Dizi Chapter of the Navajo Nation.
The post says that after getting loose, the bull went onto Main Street in Tuba City near the Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation (TCRHCC).
That's when the bull attacked several people, injuring them.
The exact number of people injured and the extent of their injuries was not released.
Navajo Emergency Medical Services treated the victims at the scene and took them to TCRHCC for further treatment.
Navajo Nation Law Enforcement also responded and "took appropriate action."
"This was a very unfortunate incident, and we are asking out community to keep those injured and their families in your thoughts and prayers," the post said. "Our thoughts are with those injured and their families and we pray for speedy recoveries."
This is a developing story and more details will be added as they are made available.
