The animals were seized by the sheriff's office during an investigation into alleged attacks on livestock.

MOHAVE COUNTY, Ariz. — 69 dogs have been seized from a property in Mohave County after the sheriff's office investigated reports of the animals attacking livestock.

On Wednesday, officials from the Mohave County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at a property in Dolan Springs after receiving reports that animals from the property were at large and creating a hazard in the area.

MCSO reported seizing and transporting over 60 dogs to a local animal shelter. MCSO said the property owner has previously been known to officials for issues involving animal hoarding.

The owner was cited for multiple counts of injuring livestock, chasing livestock and dogs at large. Additional charges could be forthcoming.
