Four people were killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 northwest of Tucson Friday afternoon.
Two semi-trucks, a motorhome and other vehicles were said to be involved in the incident, according to an official with the Avra Valley Fire District.
Fire officials say there are four confirmed fatalities in the crash, and four other people received minor injuries in the incident. One person was transported to Banner University Medical Center in Tucson for their injuries.
The roadway reopened shortly before 8:30 p.m.
Drivers are advised to travel on State Routes 77 and 79 to avoid delays from the incident.
