MOHAVE COUNTY, Ariz. — Three sets of human remains have recently been recovered from the scene of a house fire in Mohave Valley, according to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office.
The fire was reported Dec. 10 at about 2 a.m. at a residence on Lone Star Drive. MCSO said the home was fully engulfed in flames by the time deputies arrived at the scene.
A 20-year-old man had manage to exit the residence during the fire and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. MCSO said the man told deputies his fiancée and parents were in the house and unaccounted for.
After the fire was extinguished, deputies found the three sets of human remains.
The deceased individuals have been identified as Alexander Galvez, 54, Janell Norris, 53, and 20-year-old Meryia Loftin. MCSO said Loftin was pregnant at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
