PEORIA, Ariz. — A Las Vegas resident sustained fatal injuries Thursday afternoon in a car crash reported in Peoria.
The incident occurred at about 4 p.m. near State Route 74 and Lake Pleasant Parkway.
Police said a silver Sonata was making a left-hand turn onto SR-74 when it was involved in a crash with a black Ford F-150.
Two occupants in the Sonata were taken to the hospital for life-threatening injuries. One of them later died.
Peoria police have identified the deceased individual as 22-year-old Ronald Dixon of Nevada.
The driver of the other vehicle was not injured and remained at the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
