2 brothers ejected from Jeep, flown to Phoenix hospital

The sheriff's office says the vehicle crashed Tuesday afternoon in Yavapai County.

YAVAPAI COUNTY, Ariz — Two young brothers were flown to a Phoenix hospital after sustaining injuries in a rollover crash Tuesday in Yavapai County.

The sheriff's office said deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash in Congress and learned that a 21-year-old driver failed to negotiate a turn before his Jeep rolled.

The driver and his 13-year-old brother were both ejected from the Jeep. They were airlifted to a Valley hospital and their current medical condition is not known, the sheriff's office said.

Deputies are continuing to investigate the crash.
