PEORIA, Ariz. — A 14-year-old has turned himself into the Peoria Police Department for his alleged involvement in a stabbing reported during a football game at Peoria High School on Oct. 18.
Police said the suspect had gotten into a disagreement with another juvenile that ended in one of them being stabbed. The wounded juvenile sustained a minor injury and was taken to the hospital. The suspect ran before officers could make contact.
On Oct. 30, the 14-year-old turned himself in and was taken to a juvenile detention facility. Police said the juvenile is facing assault charges.
