FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — One person is dead following a shooting at Doney Park, authorities said.
Coconino County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a report of a shooting in Doney Park near Flagstaff late Thursday night. When officers got to the park, they found two people who had gunshot wounds.
One patient was transported to the Flagstaff Medical Center for further treatment and was later released. The second person died at the scene, authorities said.
Authorities said there is no danger to the surrounding area related to this incident. Authorities did not release the names of the two people who were shot or any further information related to the incident.
