A Prescott, Ariz., woman has been convicted in the fatal stabbing of her husband, whose body was dumped at a New Mexico airport by her North Carolina lover. The Daily Courier (http://goo.gl/18Ozv4) newspaper in Prescott reports that Laura Stelmasek, 48, was convicted Friday by a Yavapai County Superior Court jury in the 2011 killing of Craig Stelmasek at the couple's home.

Prosecutors said Laura Stelmasek conspired with Marzet Farris III, 50, who already has been convicted in the case.

Farris left the victim's body in a van at the Albuquerque airport. Then he and Laura Stelmasek reunited at his Raleigh, N.C., home. Both await sentencing on convictions for murder and other crimes.
