One person has died in a car-pedestrian crash involving two people this afternoon near Shea Blvd. and the Loop 101 in Scottsdale, police said.
Scottsdale police released more information saying the two people hit by the SUV were in a crosswalk. The investigation has been handed over to the Department of Public Safety.
Meanwhile, the northbound and southbound 101 off ramps to Shea Blvd. have been closed by DPS. All of the westbound lanes of Shea Blvd. have been closed. The eastbound lanes of Shea Blvd. are restricted.
