PHOENIX — Congressman Paul Gosar's performance at Wednesday's Michael Cohen hearing was a classic by Paul Gosar standards.
The far-right Flagstaff Republican had no questions about Cohen's blunt testimony about his former law client, President Donald Trump.
The few times he did have questions for Cohen, Gosar supplied the answers.
One of Gosar's answers was straight out of kindergarten.
From his playground rhymes to psychic powers, here are the six most Paul Gosar moments for the five-term congressman:
1. "Liar, liar, pants on fire"
For his allotted three minutes of time during Wednesday's House committee hearing, Gosar lectured Cohen like a child. At one point, Gosar scolded Cohen with a line most of us haven't heard since elementary school recess:
"Look at the old adage that our moms taught us - liar, liar, pants on fire."
2. Photosynthesis causes climate change
Not long after the hearing, Gosar spoke at a Capitol Hill news conference tearing down Democrats' proposed Green New Deal. According to Axios, Gosar was asked by a young person what he was doing to deal with climate change.
The congressman's response:
“Unfortunately, you haven’t been taught about photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is where plants take carbon dioxide to produce oxygen. That’s a problem in today’s world. We haven’t taught kids exactly what’s going on in America and in science.”
OK, but about climate change....
3. Gosar reveals the secret source of his psychic skills as a lie detector
It came during an Oversight Committee hearing last July, a 10-hour grilling of an FBI agent who sent anti-Trump text messages.
Gosar shared his superpower with G-Man Peter Strzok as a not-so-subtle warning not to mess with him:
"By the way, I'm a dentist so I read body language very very well."
4. Gosar's siblings turn on their brother in a campaign ad for Dem opponent
Six Gosar siblings turned on their brother in a campaign ad for his Democratic opponent David Brill in last year's midterms.
It was a brutal takedown, viewed millions of times online.
5. Gosar claims George Soros paid for Charlottesville violence
Gosar suggested "Obama sympathizer" George Soros organized and paid for the violent white nationalist rally in Charlottesville in August 2017. Gosar claimed Soros, a Hungarian Jew, "turned in his own people to the Nazis."
A year later, Gosar gave a speech at a London rally for a far-right extremist leader.
6. Blocking constituents on Facebook
A Gosar constituent sued him in Federal Court in September 2017 for blocking her on Facebook. After a year of defiance, Gosar stopped blocking his critics.
Despite — or, more likely, because of — all of the above, Gosar won a fifth term in office last November in his Trump-friendly district. Millions of ad views didn't translate into votes. Gosar crushed his Democratic opponent by almost 40 points.
Gosar celebrated with a tweet that tweaked his family:
